This is the moment a footballer clutches his chest and collapses on the pitch before dying from a suspected heart attack during a match with friends.

Osman Kaplankıran, 42, had been playing on an artificial football pitch in Dortyol, a district in Hatay Province in southern Turkey, on 24th May.

The footage shows Osman kicking the ball during the evening game before suddenly grabbing at his chest and dropping to his knees.
Seconds later, he topples forward and lies motionless on the grass as the other players appear to wait briefly to see if he will get back up.
But when Osman did not move, the match was stopped and his friends rushed over to help him.

Medics were called to the pitch after players realised the 42-year-old was not responding.
Later footage shows a stretcher being wheeled onto the artificial turf before Osman was carried away from the field.
Local media said Osman, who lived in the Ozerli neighbourhood of Dortyol, had gone to the pitch with friends for a casual football match.
He reportedly fell ill moments after passing the ball to a teammate.
At first, the other players did not fully realise how serious the situation was.
But they panicked when Osman remained on the ground and failed to react.

Emergency teams were sent to the football facility after witnesses called Turkey’s 112 emergency line.
Paramedics gave Osman first aid at the scene before taking him by ambulance to hospital.
Doctors continued trying to save him after he arrived, but he died despite all medical efforts.

Early findings reportedly indicated that Osman had suffered a heart attack.
The moment he collapsed was recorded second by second by the security cameras at the football facility.
Local reports said the incident left Osman’s family and the friends he had been playing with devastated.
The tragedy also shocked residents in Dörtyol, a Mediterranean district close to Turkey’s border region with Syria.
