A 24-year-old former FHM magazine model has been arrested for dealing meth and ecstasy during a dramatic Philippine DEA drugs swoop.
Glamorous model Charlene ‘Cindy’ Mecayer was reportedly arrested by officers of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) on 26th February in the municipality of Taytay in the northern Philippine province of Rizal.
PDEA spokesman Gregorio Pimentel told local media that Mecayer was arrested at around 4.30pm at her home in the plush Greenwoods Executive Village for allegedly dealing drugs.
According to local media, the model and event organiser was caught red-handed selling meth and ecstasy by undercover agents.
The local authorities said they seized meth worth around 68,000 PHP (1,035 GBP), three ecstasy pills worth 4,500 PHP (69 GBP), and various drug-related equipment and paraphernalia.
The pretty model, who appeared in FHM Philippines magazine in 2013, has reportedly been arrested and is facing drugs charges.
In a separate swoop, PDEA agents arrested the model’s suspected supplier, identified as Emily Dudley, in the nearby city of Pasay, according to local media.
Agents reportedly seized 50 grammes of meth worth around 340,000 PHP (5,175 GBP) and Dudley has been placed under arrest.
The investigation continues.
