This is the moment a woman passenger floors a LATAM airline employee with a right hook at a check-in desk after a row over her flight.

The incident took place at Sao Paulo–Guarulhos International Airport in the city of Guarulhos, in the state of Sao Paulo, south-eastern Brazil, on 16th June.

Video footage shows the passenger shouting at staff behind the check-in counter before moving forward and punching the female employee full in the face.
The passenger was heard earlier raising her voice during the confrontation before the situation escalated into physical violence.

Other airport passengers are seen nearby as the altercation unfolds at the LATAM service desk.
A man holding a baby that may have been with the woman is also seen attempting to pull her away.

Additional staff members move in as the passenger continues the confrontation inside the check-in area.
According to airport operator GRU Airport, at least four employees were assaulted during the incident.
Police said the passenger was later identified following the attack.
Witnesses told police the situation began after the passenger became angry over instructions related to check-in procedures and a disruption affecting her flight.

LATAM condemned the assault and said it was cooperating with authorities investigating the case.
They said in a statement: “LATAM Airlines Brasil repudiates any kind of aggressive behaviour, emphasises that nothing justifies violence against its employees, and informs that it is offering all necessary support to those affected.”
Authorities are continuing to investigate the circumstances surrounding the incident.
