Driver Stops Lorry Rolling Into Cars With Bare Hands

This is the moment a lorry driver uses only his bare hands to stop a HGV crashing into a pair of fancy parked cars and grinds it to a halt in the nick of time. 

The startling incident occurred in the city of Zelenograd in the Moscow Oblast region of western Russia and was recorded by a CCTV camera, with the footage later being posted onto social media.

In the video, a flatbed lorry can be seen in a car park when it suddenly begins rolling towards a pair of parked cars.

The quick-thinking driver, who in the cargo area of the lorry, jumps off the vehicle and runs towards the cabin, grabbing into the side of the vehicle.

He pushes the lorry away from the direction of the sports car, reportedly a Porsche and then uses his body weight to slow the vehicle down.

He manages to stop the lorry before it collides into the cars and a video taken after the incident show how he avoided a collision by a matter of inches.

Local media report the Porsche in the video is worth 7 million RUB (88,342 GBP). Reports state the Kamaz lorry had begun rolling towards the cars after its handbrake had broken.
