This is the moment a dog trainer chokes his playful Husky with the lead until it appears to pass out on the pavement.
The incident was filmed next to a busy park in the neighbourhood of La Condesa in the borough of Cuauhtemoc located in the central Mexican capital Mexico City and later shared on Twitter where it has been seen over 510,000 times.

Netizen ‘EddyWarman’ accompanied the clip with the message: “I received this video of a supposed dog trainer named Diego Garcia Cirilo who choked a Husky until it passed out.
“They should investigate the case to end this mistreatment of animals.”
According to eyewitnesses, the dog became aggressive and bit its owner who ‘calmed’ the animal by apparently choking it with the lead.
Local media said that a group of residents confronted the supposed dog trainer afterwards and he needed to be escorted away by police officers.
Garcia Cirilo reportedly showed them his bite wound as he passed, but some witnesses claimed that he was uninjured and was simply being cruel to his pet.
The local authorities invited any offended witnesses to file a report against the suspect.
Afterwards, a spokesperson for the Attorney General’s Office said that an investigation has been launched and the suspect has been arrested.
He is expected to appear before a judge to decide if he will face prosecution for animal abuse.
Since April, legislators in the Mexico City Congress have pushed for further measures on the mistreatment, abandonment, kidnapping and execution of pets.
