This is the moment a dead teenage boy is placed on a motorbike with his friends before they rode around town with his body as a tribute during his vigil.
The emotional scenes were recorded by onlookers in the municipality of Cartago, in the south-western Colombian department of Valle del Cauca after the 15-year-old boy, who has not been named in reports, was attacked and killed in the streets of the Bellevista of Cartago neighbourhood during a robbery.

According to local police, the teenager was taken to the San Juan de Dios hospital where he died in the emergency room as a consequence of the bullet wounds he received to different parts of his body. His murder is being investigated, local media report.
In the video, a group of the murdered teen’s friends can be seen propping his body up on a motorbike with at least two others at his vigil.

Reports state they had taken his body out of its coffin and decided to give him one last ride around the city wearing the shirt of his favourite football team Atletico Nacional.
Local media outlet ‘El Tiempo’ report that lawyers state the incident could be considered a crime against religious sentiment and disrespectful to the dead, which can be punishable with a fine.
Reports state the case is under investigation.
