The first guests of the Nobu restaurant and hotel in Warsaw are expected to be welcomed in early 2020.

The whole project will reportedly cost 100 million PLN (20.29 million GBP) and the new, five-star hotel and restaurant will be opened by Robert De Niro himself along with renowned chef Nobu Matsuhisa and film producer Meir Teper.

The only Hotel Nobu in Eastern Europe will replace the existing Hotel Rialto, with architects working to extend the previous hotel’s building to accommodate the new five-star facility.

It will be the first ‘lifestyle’ hotel in Warsaw and the building has been designed by renowned Polish design studio, Medusa Group. The same architects worked with the California PCH studio to create the interior design of the hotel.

The Nobu restaurant chain is a joint initiative of actor Robert de Niro, chef Nobu Matsuhisa, and film producer Meir Teper. It started with one restaurant in New York in the 1980s.

Hotel Nobu in Warsaw claims it will be “elegance and simplicity in a lifestyle edition”. The facility will house 120 rooms, conference rooms dedicated to events and business events, a fitness zone and the Nobu Restaurant.

Today, there are 40 branches of the restaurant on five continents and the company also operates five-star hotels.
