This is the moment police officers discover and arrest a fugitive gangster hiding in a homemade underground “bunker” on a farm.
The 40-year-old man had been on the run and was staying in the countryside to evade an arrest warrant issued by the courts in Goias before he was captured on a farm in the municipality of Pindorama, in the Brazilian state of Sao Paulo on 18th March.
The video shows officers with their guns out after having located the suspect, who can be seen with his hands up after he was located in the concealed underground space.
Police had received information that the fugitive was at the location and, during their enquiries, identified a vehicle linked to him, which helped officers track him down.
During the search of one of the rooms, the officers discovered a false floor.
Upon removing the cover, they found the concealed underground space where the suspect was hiding.
He was taken to the Catanduva Police Station after being detained, with officers seizing a mobile phone and a tablet.

The suspect, not named, is being investigated for criminal organisation, money laundering, drug trafficking, association for trafficking, illegal possession of a firearm and robbery.
He is also suspected of being a leader of a criminal group specialising in scams.
