This is the moment a man crouches beside a young man after he collapses on the street before rifling through his wallet and stealing his cash while pretending to check on him before leaving him to his fate.

CCTV footage obtained on 22nd July shows the incident, which took place on 20th July, in the town of Fethiye, in the Turkish province of Mugla.
The video shows the young man suddenly falling to the ground in the Paspatur Bazaar, before a bystander leans over him, searches his bag after spotting it on a bench nearby, then reaches into his back pocket and removes his wallet.
He then removes cash from the wallet before putting it back in the man’s back pocket and leaving the scene.
The suspect, identified by police only as R. Y. , 56, allegedly took around TRY 6,000 (GBP 95) from the wallet before walking away from the scene.

Emergency medical teams later attended to the young man, whose identity has not been released, and he was given first aid at the scene before being taken to hospital, where his condition is reported as good.
Officers from Fethiye District Police reviewed hours of footage from surrounding shops and businesses to identify the suspect, who was detained a short time later.
R. Y. was subsequently brought before a court, which ordered him to be remanded in custody pending further proceedings.
