This is the adorable moment of a cat giving a massage to a dog while sitting on its back.
According to local news outlet Cumhuriyet TV, the cat and a dog that live in a factory in the 1st Organised Industrial Zone in the north-western Turkish province of Bilecik have been friends for some time.
The workers in the factory feed the cat and dog, which most of the day are inseparable.
The video was shared on social media by one of the workers at the factory on 11th April, where it can be seen that the cat is sitting on the back of its canine friend and massaging it while the dog is lying on the ground looking relaxed.

The video ends with the cat resting its head on the dog’s back and lying down.
Netizens who watched the video, which received many likes and comments on social media, put forward different theories about why the cat behaves this way.
Some netizens suggested that the cat was trying to prepare a more comfortable place to lie down. A Twitter user named ‘Hasan Atas’ wrote: “The cat is not giving a massage to the dog. It is softening the dog’s fur to sleep more comfortably. Cats are very fond of their comfort.”
Other netizens suggested that the dog might be tired or sick and that the cat made this behavior knowingly. A Twitter user named ‘Gulsen Uysal’ wrote: “Cat is giving a massage to the dog since it feels that the dog has an illness or in pain. It’s for healing purposes.”
