Lover Falls To Death Climbing Down High-Rise Building

Police are investigating after a woman’s alleged lover was forced to flee her flat via a high-rise window before plunging to his death while attempting to climb down the side of a tower block.

Reports have speculated that the unnamed victim, whose identity has been withheld by police, was caught-red handed when his apparently married girlfriend’s family returned home unexpectedly.

Video taken from a neighbouring building in the city of Maoming in South China’s Guangdong Province shows the alleged secret lover wearing only a T-shirt and pants as he slides down the high-rise with no safety equipment.

It is unclear how he managed to climb to his position from the flat window, but he is seen sliding down the structure like a stuntman, placing his back against a wall and one leg against a concrete column in front of him.

However, subsequent footage shows the man then stopping while still trapped several storeys up as he reportedly grows tired and can no longer hold on.

The video showing him making an emergency phone call with one hand during the incident on 10th September is reportedly the last time he was seen alive.

He is later seen lying lifeless on the ground below the high-rise, having reportedly plunged to his death due to fatigue.

Maoming police have confirmed that an investigation is ongoing into individual who fell from the high-rise.

They have not put out an official statement about the incident, and declined to comment further on the man’s identity or any reasons behind his fall.
