Brits Arrested For Tying Up Ibiza Women, Robbing Them

Five female British tourists have been arrested in Ibiza for allegedly breaking into the room of another two female British tourists, tying them up and stealing their belongings. 

The five women aged between 29 and 34 years old, allegedly broke into a room at Ibiza Rocks hotel, in the Sant Antoni area of the island of Ibiza, one of the Balearic Islands off the eastern coast of Spain.

The women allegedly tied up the two other women inside the room and stole 500 EUR (452 GBP) they had in the room.

According to local media, one of the victims – who have not been named – managed to break free and called the hotel security.

After the case was reported, the Spanish Civil Guard on the island started an investigation before arresting the five women.

The five women – whose names have not been reported – were taken to the Spanish Civil Guard headquarters in Ses Paisses and later taken to court.

Judicial sources told local media that the five women were released after being charged with illegal detention and violent robbery.
