British Woman Aged 30 Missing In Hungarian Capital’s 7th District

Police have initiated a search after a 30-year-old British woman went missing in the Hungarian capital.

Bartram Christina Frances disappeared from Budapest’s 7th district Erzsebetvaros in the early hours of Wednesday, 28th September.

Budapest Police Headquarters announced that Frances is of average built and is about 165 centimetres (5.4 feet) tall.

She reportedly has long, curly brown hair and blue eyes.

In addition, the police reported she had a piercing around her left eye and tattoos on her right wrist and left forearm.

Frances was wearing yellow sneakers, long socks with a black pattern and fishnet tights at the time of her disappearance.

She was last seen wearing a yellowish-green T-shirt and a pink furry hat under a waist-long black coat.

The VII District Police Department asked anyone with information about the 30-year-old woman to come forward and report her location.

Witnesses can turn to the 24-hour hotline 06-80-555-111 or to the toll-free emergency number 112.

Despite the prevalence of crowds, the Erzsebetvaros which is located on the Pest side of the Danube is considered very safe.

Police did not disclose further information about the missing woman.
