Brit Co Deliveroo To Use Jet Skis To Deliver To Boats

British company Deliveroo have announced they will be delivering food to tourists on boats off the coast of Spain by jet ski without them having to come to shore.

British food delivery service Deliveroo have announced that they are launching jet-ski services for 17 Spanish seaside cities including Palma de Majorca and Barcelona, allowing tourists and locals to have their food delivered at sea.

According to the company, customers will be able to ask for food to be delivered directly to their boats on jet-skis from restaurants such as Five Guys and Taco Bell as well as local restaurants such as burger joint Goiko Grill and Japanese restaurant Miss Sushi.

The orders will have to be made through the Deliveroo app, marking their location and delivery drivers on jet skis will then take the food to them. Reports state that customers in the participating cities will also be able to have their food delivered as usual on land.

The full list of cities where the service will be available is: Barcelona, Valencia, A Coruna, Alicante, Malaga, Palma de Majorca, Almeria, Marbella, Vigo, Cartagena, Fuengirola, Badalona, Huelva, Benidorm, Castellon, Tarragona and Santander.

Deliveroo is based in London and was founded by two Americans, Will Shu and Greg Orlowski, in 2014 and operates in 200 cities around the world.
