Brave Daddy Dog And Its Son Defend Woman From Robbery

This is the moment a father-and-son dog pair defend a woman from an armed robbery n the middle of a road by chasing the attacker away.

The incident took place in a poor neighbourhood in the city of Guayaquil, in the western Ecuadorian province of Guayas and was recorded by CCTV cameras.

In the video, a woman can be seen walking down the road when a man runs up to her and tries to grab her bag. The woman fights back and as she does so two dogs come running to her aid, sprinting at the thief and allowing the woman to step away as the thief seemingly pulls out a gun.

He said: “It was small, then he had children with the dog nearby and we got one of them (Hermoso).

“They are very quiet. They are the guards of the neighbourhood, they do not let anybody approach the house. When someone tried to steal the lights, they pushed them away. It is as if they can smell evil people. It’s an example for owners to learn how to take care of their dogs and not abuse them.”

No arrests have been reported in the case.
