This adorable ginger tom in the Netherlands has been compared to the feline hero of the Shrek movie series Puss in Boots.
The cute kitten’s owner Deborah De Asis said that every time her pet wants a treat, he looks at her with big eyes like its doppelganger from Shrek.
In the films, Puss in Boots, most famously voiced by Spanish star Antonio Banderas, is a swashbuckling romantic ginger cat who can transform in an instant into a doe-eyed pussycat when he wants his own way.

Deborah, who lives in the Netherlands with the kitten, which she named Master Poe Poe, said that when he pulls the face he looks completely innocent but is really a little trickster in real life.
As the pictures show, when the kitten puts his two front paws together and opens his big eyes to beg for a cat treat, he really does look similar to the much-loved cartoon character.
The kitten now has its own accounts on Instagram and TikTok with several thousand followers, and the numbers are growing all the time.
