Bearded Neo-Nazi Who Changed Gender Sent To Women’s Prison

A convicted neo-Nazi who announced he was changing his gender when he was jailed for 18 months will be able to serve his sentence in a prison full of women despite appearing in court with a beard and a moustache.

Sven Liebich, who now calls himself Marla-Svenja Liebich, was convicted in August 2024 in Germany for inciting racial hatred.

Since his conviction, the hardcore neo-Nazi firebrand has suddenly revealed that he is changing his gender under self-determination laws.

He has demanded the right to be able to serve out his sentence in a women’s jail and insisted: “I don’t want to be discriminated against.”

A series of appeals with the Naumburg Higher Regional Court were previously rejected and judges had told Liebich he had to serve time in a men’s prison.

The court heard how despite his claim to be a woman – he still dressed and looked like a man and had done nothing to indicate his new claimed gender.

But the Saxon Ministry of Justice later explained that Liebich will have to initially be placed in a women’s jail after all, as this is what is mandated by law.

Photos taken during recent court hearings show Liebich boasting a thick moustache with a red-coloured lip, complete with a long-sleeved dress and a sun hat.

He had even painted his nails red to apparently convince the court he really is a woman, despite previously slandering the “gender nonsense” and trans people.

Officials say Liebich may later be moved to a men’s prison but the “initial intake” must be made in a women’s jail since Liebich is technically female by law.

The public prosecutor’s office in Halle has now summoned Liebich to serve his sentence in the Chemnitz correctional facility (JVA), according to 19th August reports.

Authorities say Liebich’s transfer to a men’s detention centre will now be up to the prison itself.

An inquiry by German newspaper BILD to the Saxon Ministry of Justice regarding Liebich’s exact accommodation in the women’s prison has not yet been answered.
