Aeroflot Wing Smashed In Tarmac Crash At Moscow Airport

This footage shows the a badly damaged wing of a Russian Aeroflot aircraft after it collided with another passenger plane on the runway at Russia’s busiest airport.

The footage, captured moments after the terrifying collision, was filmed at the Sheremetyevo Alexander S. Pushkin International Airport, one of four major airports serving the western Russian capital Moscow and the country’s busiest.

In the clip, the Aeroflot’s wing is seen badly damaged as both planes remain stationary on the tarmac moments after the crash.

Reports said that the incident involved an Aeroflot aircraft and a Royal Flight plane, both Russian airlines.

According to local media, the Aeroflot was on the runway waiting for permission to take off when the Royal Flight aeroplane crashed into it.

The Aeroflot aircraft suffered a damaged wing while the Royal Flight plane needed to be towed away by an airport tug, according to reports.

Local media said that all the passengers on board the Aeroflot flight were evacuated from the plane and that no one was injured in the incident. The airline then found alternative flights for the affected passengers.

Meanwhile, no passengers were on board the Royal Flight aeroplane at the time of the crash.

The local authorities are investigating the incident.
