A stunning Russian actress with flawlessly clear skin revealed her beauty secret has been not washing her face with water for the last ten years.
The 32-year-old theatre and film actress Kristina Asmus, is from the city of Korolyov in the western Russian region of Moscow Oblast.
Asmus recently revealed how she keeps her skin so perfect to her almost four million Instagram followers.
She posted: “My face is my working instrument and I need it to look perfectly good. As long as my ‘system’ works, I will continue using it.”
The actress explained in her post how the routine began after a makeup artist accidentally treated her face with a harmful substance which caused such severe skin problems that she could not work for some time.
The actress wrote: “I stopped washing my face with tap water. I started buying water in little plastic bottles, putting it into the fridge and washing my face with cold water. Then I switched to ice and then later totally banned the water and started using only antiseptic.”
The actress went on to say that she does not let anyone, even family, touch her face. She also said that she always disinfects her phone and glasses and never touches the sofa or any other surface that may be dirty with her face.
Asmus said: “I use antiseptic not only before going to bed but during daytime as well and never wipe the liquid out, just let it dry out naturally”.
The actress is the mother of a six-year-old daughter, Anastasia, born from her marriage with Russian comedian and actor, Garik Kharlamov.
According to national newspaper Blok Not, the actress announced her divorce to Kharlamov in June this year.
