Prosecutors said she then travelled between the capital and the country’s north coast before she was tracked down through her car and arrested.

They said officers found a laptop and a mobile phone with no SIM card which was connected to a personal WiFi hotspot during the arrest.

Prosecutors have accused the social media star of creating profiles on social media that violated family values and principles.

She was reportedly set to be detained for four days pending investigations but has now been released after posting 20,000 GBP bail.

Eladhm, who has over 1.6 million followers on her Instagram account, rose to fame with videos dancing and lip-syncing in videos on TikTok and was arrested in March with another woman for violating Egypt’s coronavirus lockdown.

The case is ongoing.
