This one-armed 13-year-old has become a viral sensation with his incredible videos showing off his basketball skills and has been hailed as an “inspiration”.
Chinese teenager Zhang Jiacheng from the southern Chinese province of Guangdong has notched up over 13 million online views with his basketball skills.
The youngster lost his arm in an accident when he was five but has not let the loss of the limb stand in the way of his dream of becoming a basketball player.
The 13-year-old reportedly trains come rain or shine and his videos he can be seen showing off his impressive one-armed dribbling skills.
In the first video, he can be seen taking on another, taller youngster in a one-on-one in front a crowd.
Zhang performs a series of dazzling crossovers between his legs as the crowd ‘ohs’ in appreciation.
The teenager then drops into a spin move and throws a jump shot over the defender which bounces in as the crowd shouts.
When the youngster sinks a second shot an adult onlooker runs in grabs him to celebrate.
A second clip shows him beating a series of defenders with his ball-handling skills.
The videos have received a total of over 13 million views and over 1 million likes on Chinese social media platforms Douyin and Weibo.
